Jean Boillot Abstract Analysis of the operational statistics and actions to improve the reliability. The CERN PS complex, comprising 8 accelerators, supplies various particle beams to different users working in parallel, in a repetitive sequence called a supercycle. Due the location of this complex at the source of all the CERN particles, a constant attention is paid on beam availability. Thanks to electronic logbooks installed on the different machines and to several programs for data treatment, meaningful statistics are available and are used for the analysis of the reliability of the machines; this allows a better understanding and a regular follow-up of the problems, and in consequence decisions about improvements either on equipment or on the organization of the operation can be taken more easily. Examples of actions undertaken during the previous years will be presented and the results on reliability improvement will be discussed.
