Jean Boillot Bio.

   Jean Boillot joined CERN (Geneva) in 1972 after working during 3
   years in Paris in an aerospace laboratory. Engineer in electronics
   from Lyon (France), he holds a doctorate in Applied Physics from
   Paris University. 

   He is a member of the Operations Group of the CERN PS Division for
   25 years. He participated in several projects in various domains :
   construction of beam lines, beam diagnostics, general sequencing
   and timing of the CERN accelerators, running of the PS Complex in
   multi-user mode, operational aspects and specifications for the
   accelerator control system. Since 1989, he is the Head of the
   Operations Group. He is in charge of the scheduling of the
   machines in coordination with the physicists and of the follow-up
   of the beam performance and of the reliability of the machines.
