               Electronic LogBooks and other Web Tools

       Our users need more information and transparency regarding
       operational aspects such as downtime, maintenance, and 
       stability.  We would like to be able to use handwritten
       information from the Logbooks.  Over the years we have been
       filling these logbooks with problems, their solutions, and
       other useful data.  Some more discipline is required in
       making entries in the log book.  This session will try to
       give an answer to the question of how an electronic Logbook
       should appear, its look and its feel. We hope that we will
       also get an idea of what other web-based tools accelerator
       Operations people are using.

       A small introduction by A.Mezger will show the present
       state at PSI (paper Logbook, Logging, statistics, ...),
       what has already been done and what we think has to be
       done.  This approach leaves some questions, which could be
       a starting point for further discussion during the session.
