Chris Piaszczyk - Bio. Chris Piaszczyk is a systems engineer at the Northrop Grumman Corporation in Bethpage, New York. He is currently working for their Advanced Systems and Technology Division in the Energy Systems Group as a leader of the Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) design and analysis of advanced accelerator applications. He is also a co-developer of the Accelerator Systems Model - a computer code which is used for optimization of accelerator systems. Chris Piaszczyk joined the Grumman's Energy Systems ten years ago and worked on many accelerator projects, including the Accelerator Production of Tritium, Spallation Neutron Source, International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility, Neutral Particle Beam Concept Development, and the Neutral Particle Beam Space Experiment. He holds a doctorate in Applied Mechanics from the Polytechnic Institute of New York and a masters degree, also in Applied Mechanics, from the Polytechnic Institute of Warsaw in Poland.
