These student apartments are available during our May workshop since classes will not be in session. The apartments are dormitory style units that cannot be considered luxurious, however they are clean, bright and AFFORDABLE. The apartments are located within walking distance of the Workshop site and are centrally located within the UBC campus. Downtown Vancouver is a 25 - 30 minute bus ride away from the campus.

Another fine hotel, slightly less expensive than the Landis, but located very nearby.


Those block booked rooms that are not reserved by 10 April 1998 will be released from use by WAO'98. After this date it is up to you to find your own accommodations. We strongly urge you to arrange for your hotel accommodations right after you receive your Workshop Registration Confirmation.

It is your responsibility to arrange for accommodations. The accommodation arrangements that you make are entirely your own responsibility. We provide this information only as a convenience to WAO'98 participants.
